We are looking for a Nature Based Solutions Specialist who through knowledge and expertise will be our organisational specialist in nature-based solutions and help enable SWT to deliver our vision
As Nature based Solutions specialist you will play a key role in enabling Somerset Wildlife Trust (SWT) to deliver its vision to reverse biodiversity loss and tackle the climate crisis.
You will be providing up to date technical guidance and advice to teams and through internal and networking partnerships identifying opportunities for our teams to deliver NBS delivery projects across the county.
This is a Senior Specialist role reporting to the Head of Nature Recovery. To be successful in this role you will be motivated by the bigger picture, using innovative ways to utilise natural processes in combating the challenges of climate change.
You will be the go-to expert in the organisation, leading on the development of our policies and procedures around NBS and providing expertise and guidance to all staff, trustees and volunteers to deliver this crucial work across the county.
