The Northern School of Art, is an independent School of Further and Higher Education, based in the vibrant North East within a stimulating and genuine art school context, in delivering vocational, innovative industry relevant programmes of study. We achieved a Gold award in regards to teaching excellence framework at Higher Education and an Ofsted Outstanding rating for our Further Education provision.
We are seeking a Principalship Administrator to work alongside the Executive Assistant to the Principal, in providing a comprehensive administrative service to the Principalship team – the senior management group - and their staff across Higher Education & Further Education in order to meet the strategic objectives of the institution. This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to join our small and friendly team.
The Principalship Administrator will undertake a variety of administrative tasks and will have organisational, communication (oral and written) and IT skills across a number of MS packages (word/excel/powerpoint/access), with opportunity to contribute to the development of systems and processes.
Duties include coordinating the administration requirements for educational visits, checking quality assurance compliance, management of surveys (distribution, monitoring responses and analysing data) in addition to diary management, travel arrangements, servicing meetings (including minute taking) and provision of general administrative support.
The role is predominately based at our campus in Hartlepool but there will also be a requirement to work at our Middlesbrough site.
